Product description
These personalized mini plates feature a charming animal design and can be customized for each recipient. Choose from 14 motifs, the twelve animals of the Japanese zodiac, plus a frog and a cat, and five colors for the illustration and lettering. Each plate can be ordered with or without lettering to suit your preference. The illustration and lettering are carved into the clay, filled with color, then glazed and fired using a inlay technique. Unlike designs painted only on the surface, they resist fading even with repeated use. The plate is also dishwasher-safe. Although originally designed as children’s tableware, this versatile plate can be enjoyed by all ages as a soy sauce dish, side plate, or for many other uses. Its personalized design makes it a thoughtful keepsake for a new baby, birthday, preschool graduation, or other special occasion. The collection also includes rice bowls, lunch plates, cocottes, and other tableware, as shown in images 4, 5, 6 and 7.
