These square plates feature Oribe glaze—traditionally known for its deep green color—finished in a brighter, more translucent tone. The classic Oribe finish is paired with an ichimatsu checkered motif, one of the traditional Edo komon patterns. Its balanced combination of color and pattern makes it suitable for both Japanese and Western cuisine and a natural fit for a variety of everyday dining settings. Available in three sizes: large, medium, and small. A variation featuring a hinoki lattice pattern is also available, as shown in the third and fourth images.
