Each item is made individually by hand with potter's wheel. We use Oujigama’s characteristic Shino glaze fired in heavy-oil kilns to create teacups with warmth and a substantial sense of presence. In addition, when used for a long time, the appearance of the product changes due to crazing, so you can enjoy making the teacup your very own. The soft white really brings out the green color of tea, and the teacup itself has a gorgeous appearance.
